Fill your fridge with 3 meals and 2 desserts that celebrate Early Spring in Massachusetts!
Rosendo at Winter Moon Roots is harvesting radishes, carrots, and spring-dug parsnips, Giulio at Seven Hills Pasta is making flower-shaped pasta, and we've all moved our clocks forward for daylight savings. Which means it's time for our Early Spring Box, packed full of everything you need to inject your home with the first signs of the season.
This box contains 2-3 servings of each of the 3 meals.
MEAL 1 - BUDDHA BOWL
A meal-prepper's dream come true, an assemblage of protein-packed grains and veggies that tread easy on our planet. Simply combine and enjoy!
- 1 container red quinoa salad (already cooked, you'll just heat or eat at room temperature)
- 1 container of Jasper's sweet potato fresno salad
- 1 container of Sara's herby cucumber salad (brand new Clover item!)
- 1 container creamy, dreamy almond sauce
- 1 lime (you'll cut into wedges)
- 1 container chickpea and roasted carrot salad
- 1 container black and white sesame seeds
MEAL 2 - TUSCAN SPRING PESTO PASTA WITH SPRING SALAD
- 1 lb bronze-died semolina pasta made by our friend Giulio at Seven Hills
- 1 container sunflower seed pesto
- 1 container slow-roasted green meat radishes
- 1 container slow-roasted purple starburst daikon radishes
- 1 bunch farm radishes
- 1 pot pecorino cheese
- 1 container hearty farm salad
- 1 bottle orange-honey vinaigrette
MEAL 3 - SPLIT PEA SOUP AND JASPER'S FATTOUSH SALAD
- 1 container Spring Split Pea Soup (we're bringing back a favorite from the food truck!)
- 1 container Jasper's spring fattoush salad (a brand-new item at Clover, not even released yet in the restaurants!)
- 1 pack Clover pita
- 1 package Clover garden butter (full of herbs and veggie confetti)
SNACK - SPRING DUG PARSNIP FRITTERS
- 1 container parsnip fritters, think pillowy donut holes with grated parsnips folded into the batter (6 pc total)
**DESSERT - LAVENDER SHORTBREAD **
- 2 pieces of buttery shortbread with house-made lavender sugar
FAQs
Can I freeze this food?
Our pita freezes beautifully. In fact we recommend you freeze it if you're not eating it immediately. Our soup freezes beautifully as well. Our pasta is shelf-stable and can be used anytime. Everything else keeps well for about a week in the fridge.
I'm new to cooking and I'm not sure about this whole meal box thing. What if I don't like it?
We rely on feedback to improve. So if for any reason, you don't like your first meal box, reach out and someone from our team will make you whole.
What if I change my mind?
Changes or cancellations to your Clover At Home order must be before 5pm, 2 days prior to your order’s pickup/delivery day. This allows us to waste as little food as possible, and also keep things efficient in our kitchen. If your scheduled day suddenly doesn’t work for you, please consider asking us to donate your food instead, and then re-ordering for the date that does work!
Can I substitute or modify the box?
To keep our boxes affordable for everyone, we cannot make any customizations or substitutions. Thank you for understanding!
